• Invaders From Mars 1986 (Surpasses the original in many ways)

• Dawn of the Dead 2004


• Last House on the Left 2009
  

Now this is a very short list of good remakes, there are so many bad one's it can be hard to find the true gems. But remakes aren't always a bad thing, but not always a good thing either.
